The Haqihana harness is individually hand-made in Italy, and is designed to give maximum comfort in all situations.

The fit ensures that pressure is properly distributed on the dog’s sternum and thorax, even when he is pulling.

Made from high tenacity spun-dried nylon, which is guaranteed for five years.

All parts that have contact with the dog’s skin are finished with a special stitching to avoid rubbing, particularly in short-haired dogs.

Turid Rugaas says: “ A comfortable harness like this allows freedom of movement and there is no pinching behind the front legs. The dog does not pull because he feels comfortable and is relaxed.”

International scientific literature inspired Haqihana to propose a substitute to the collar, which is often a painful source of physical and psychological problems for the dog. The Haqihana harness is a “non-inhibitive” type of harness which is easy to put on, comfortable for the dog and stylish. It is characterized by the high level of its design, focusing mainly on the comfort of the dog, the quality of the materials and the precision in production.

Design together with well-proportioned dimensions and the positioning of the harness on the dog have been carefully studied to guarantee maximum comfort in all situations. Pressure is properly distributed on the dog’s sternum and thorax only, even when the dog is pulling, jerking or being restrained. The harness does not cause pain, sense of restriction, friction or injury to the skin, and does not limit movement or create other discomfort. The two buckles and their position make putting on and removing the harness trouble-free for dog and owner.

Webbing The webbing is made of high tenacity, spun-dyed nylon-6 which guarantees colour homogeneity and resistance. The special characteristics of nylon (polyamide) make it particularly suitable for harness and leash production. In fact, amongst synthetic fibers, nylon is well-known for its softness, optimal strength-to-weight ratio, abrasion resistance, and chemical and biological stability. Finally, it is fully recyclable. Manufacture The harnesses are hand-made paying great attention to detail. In fact safety and comfort for the dog are very important. All parts are sewn together with secure stitching and the overlapping parts, which have contact with the skin, are finished with a special stitching to avoid any rubbing, particularly in the short-haired dog.

The Plastic Components The buckles and adjusters are made of acetal resin which maintains longlasting mechanical and shock resistance even in extreme conditions. The plastic parts are rounded off and have no sharp edges in order to ensure the dog’s comfort.

Sizes and Adjustability The carefully studied sizes and the five point adjustment guarantees optimal wearability and adaptability of the harness for all dog sizes and morphology. D-Ring The metal components are in stainless steel (Inox 304) which does not release Nickel or cause allergic reactions in accordance with European regulations.

Guarantee Harnesses are guaranteed for five years from date of purchase for any defect, breakage or other that is not considered normal wear and tear and when it occurs during the correct use of the product. Haqihana reserves the right to verify correct use of the product. Incorrect use is considered for example chewing of parts or failing to follow washing instructions.

Size Guide The versions ML, SL, XSL and XXSL have longer straps that run along the dog’s torso (back and abdomen) and are intended for long bodied dogs such as Greyhounds and Dachshund.
