Reviews-
Very Useful Information
Reviewer: Kaci Harris
This is a very good book, especially for someone wanting to learn more on puppy evaluations and basic show preparation. It includes all the information found on her Puppy Puzzle DVD including the bonus information, plus much more in regards to showing. I would highly recommend this book, especially for the beginner, and then if you feel you would like a bit more visual clarification on any of the puppy evaluation points I would recommend the DVD. The only thing I was hoping for more of was information on how structure should vary due to breed purpose, but for that you could go with K9 Structure and Terminology, yet another great book.
Worth its weight in gold!

I dont know how I managed before getting and reading this book. They leave nothing out, and the whole section on puppy evaluating has been great. Not as much is left to chance as one might think, and this book really goes into great detail as to how you can take much of that chance out of your show career.
I dont think there was anything left out in this book! If you show dogs, whether you’re a novice or seasoned veteran, or simply want to learn more about them and how different structure problems impact a puppy as it grows to an adult… you really need to read this book.
It is probably the best resource for show enthusiasts out there.
5 paws up!

In my opinion this book is a welcome addition to anybody’s doggy library. The photo’s and illustrations have certainly helped my ‘novice eye’ to assess canine structure. The information on different grooming techniques and tools required is a wonderful chapter and has also been well-received, along with information on food, advertising, handling and even cavaletti work! It’s a great book that would make the perfect gift for any dog-lover
