Octa Sheep Chaser with Reward Pouch

The Octo-Sheep Chaser with Reward Pouch is made from real sheepskin and is a great toy for teasing and enticing puppies and hard-to-motivate dogs to play. Drag the toy on the ground and the “tentacles” will flip and flop around to excite your dog. As an added bonus, this version of the Octo-Sheep Chaser has a Velcro reward pouch at the end of one of the tentacles.

The five tentacles of the “octopus” are made from squares of sheepskin folded over nylon webbing and sewn. Each tentacle is approximately 7.5″ long and they are linked together on a small bungee ring so that there’s a little bit of flex when the dog tugs with the toy. The nylon handle is 23.5″ long. The reward pouch is 3″H x 6″W and comes with a squeaker in it. Two nylon tabs allow you to open the Velcro easily.

This is a fun toy, especially for puppies.

The sheep hides used to make these toys come from California and Wisconsin. They are tanned using lime, salt, baking soda and/or ammonium alum, making a safe and attractive toy.
